So while I haven’t submitted my votes for the Triple J Hottest 100, I have submitted my votes for the Crafty Pint Hottest 100 Australian Craft Beers of 2011. It’s pretty hard to choose only 5 when you work at a bar that stocks over 50 craft beers, most of which are Australian, but I chose the five below. Fighting Falcon IPA by Bacchus Brewing (QLD) Stone & Wood Pacific Ale by Stone and Wood Brewery (NSW) The Angry Man Pale Ale by Murrays Brewing Co. (NSW) Whale Ale by Murrays Brewing Co. (NSW) Steam Ale by Mountain Goat (VIC) To all of the people who read my Tumblr and didn’t know that I worked at a craft beer bar or that I love craft beer, please know that I do. They are not only better than any commercial beer you will ever have - they also have amazing design, and usually an interesting story.
